Tuition and Fees

A Catholic education is the most important investment you will make in the life of your child(ren).  The time and money you invest now will have a lasting benefit and set a strong foundation built on values.  Yet, we recognize that Catholic education can be daunting and seem impossible to attain.   Below, you will find information regarding tuition costs for  2017-2018 school year.

 *This is approximately a $2.00 per day per child increase over the 2016-2017 tuition levels  (There was not a tuition increase for the 2016-2017 school year.) 

*Please remember St. John the Baptist Catholic School, unlike many other Catholic schools, does not charge  additional fees for field trips & technology. 

*Additional fees are required for the lunch program and extra-curricular activities such as Band, Chess Club, Ski  Club, Athletics, Plays, and Camp St. Croix (8th grade only). 

*Each family will be required to place a $150 Commitment Deposit at the time of registration.  This deposit is applied    to next year’s tuition and is non-refundable. 

*Registration will be online again this year.  Current school families will receive an email from TADS. 

*Registrations not completed by March 1, 2017 will be subject to a $200 late fee per family. 

*Full Cost Tuition is the cost of education for a student.  The difference between full cost tuition and subsidized  tuition is the per pupil amount subsidized by the overall parish community. 

* The school generates revenue from the following sources:  Tuition & Fees, Marathon for Non-Public Education,  Parish Subsidy, Jubilee, Designated Donations from Benefactors, and Box Tops for  Education.
