The Campus Master Plan, a plan that involves rethinking the current space and envisioning how it can better meet the future needs of our church and school, is focused on developing a long range plan for the facilities and grounds of St. John's Campus. In early 2022, work began on a Campus Master Plan with Miller Dunwiddie, a local architecture firm.
A steering committee was established that includes Fr. Little, parish leadership, and parishioners. Preliminary visioning sessions were conducted with key ministries including the School (preK-8), Faith Formation, Worship and Liturgy, Fellowship, parish staff functions, cemetery, rectory, and parish grounds. Miller Dunwiddie compiled this input as well as observations and assessments they have made of parish facilities and grounds.
Miller Dunwiddie first developed three high-level vision options shared at with the parish in April. Visuals were then on display and feedback was collected. A second meeting was held in June to present the preferred design concept based on the feedback and evaluations from the first meeting. Visuals of the preferred concept are now on display in the atrium.
You are invited to preview the June presentation HERE and to stop by the atrium to view these options and share your feedback. Please email feedback to [email protected] throughout the month of June.
Please pray that the Holy Spirit will continue to guide this work to build a vision and plan for our campus that will support our mission to make Jesus Christ known and loved in our community.
