Presentation: The Mass of Christian Burial

St. John the Baptist, Savage is hosting a presentation focused on Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday January 24 at 9AM in the Church Atrium. Presented by Jamie Moloney – Director of Pastoral Outreach, The Catholic Cemeteries

Jamie will discuss the importance of pre-planning for funerals and burial, including explaining the Order of Christian Funerals, the importance of burying the dead and having a permanent place to memorialize and honor your loved one. Full-body and cremation options will also be discussed, including what the Catholic Church recommends and why. She will briefly review the Minnesota Catholic Health Care Directive. Pre-planning your funeral and burial options is a gift to your family, and eliminates unnecessary stress on loved ones at the time of your death.
