The Ultimate Gift offers families a trio of faith-based activities to usher in the Christmas season. Families are welcome to join us for the Children's Giving Spree, the Journey to Bethlehem, and the Stations of the Crib.

Start the celebration with the Children's Giving Spree (formerly known as the Children's Shopping Spree), a long-standing St. John's tradition! Children ages 3+ are invited to shop with helper elves (no parents allowed!) to find special gifts for their loved ones. Later in the season, watch them experience the joy of giving when the presents they chose are opened and treasured, as we anticipate the gift yet to come.

Then follow the stars on the Journey to Bethlehem. Visit with the Sisters, browse goods from Christian vendors, and let the anticipation build as you draw closer to the manger.

Finally, explore the joyful space in the Stations of the Crib and learn about the holy events leading up to Jesus' birth. Enhance your faith and connection as a family as you approach the crib of Jesus, our ultimate gift.

Families are welcome to attend any or all events, but are encouraged to visit all three.

Preregistration is encouraged for the spree; visit bit.ly/SpreeShopper. Other events are open for walk-ins anytime. Enter door 1.

Volunteers are greatly needed for the spree, especially teens (counts toward service hours)! Sign up at bit.ly/SpreeVolunteer.

We are also seeking donations of new and gently-used gift bags and tissue paper for the spree. We are happy to accept new gifts for the spree as well! Drop off in the boxes at the church entrances.
