Marathon for non-public education is our biggest student lead fundraiser and all the money raised goes directly towards the school’s operating budget. Marathon raises money to help us close the gap between tuition and the actual cost of educating a child at St. John the Baptist. The Marathon goal each year is to raise at least $60,000 which is a huge undertaking for a small school like ours, but we are blessed with a supportive network of family and community friends who help make it possible each year through fundraising through outreach to your family, friends, neighbors, and more. Our Marathon Day of Service is one full day that we set aside and for each grade to work on unique service projects. St. John’s has been celebrating Marathon for over 30 years and it truly is one of the most special days of the year.
