TreeHouse Support Outreach has been serving teens since 1979, helping them build relationships and resiliency rooted in living hope. We’re based in Minnesota, but we have sites across the country. Each of our sites host programs that give teens a safe space to find support and belonging. Through mentorships, retreats, and other off-site activities, teens have the opportunity to build even deeper relationships with peers and caring adults.
St. John's the Baptist Catholic Church will partner with TreeHouse to support the local Savage program where teens struggling with life issues come together to share a meal before entering into discussion groups led by TreeHouse volunteer group leaders. The purpose of this mission is to provide a safe place to talk through problems or issues facing these teens in a supportive atmosphere. Services are provided at Bridgewood Church located at 6201 135th St., Savage (across from Savage Community Park on County Rd. 27). St. John's will be providing a hot meal before the group discussions twice a month. 3 volunteers are needed for each meeting to purchase, prepare, deliver, and serve these meals for approximately 10 to 20 teens. Volunteers can sign up for a single or for multiple months. Adults and minors need to register before picking a date to serve.
